Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Store Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations. The Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and motivate a team to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or warehouse management is an advantage. Driving License - Mandatory Food Safety and HACCP certification Proven experience with kitchen stores and warehouses Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

JOB SKILLS

Oversee the accurate and efficient management of inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and properly recorded. Supervise the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all deliveries and shipments. Lead and manage the warehouse team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work. Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintained efficiently, with goods stored in a manner that maximizes space and accessibility. Conduct regular quality checks on received and stored goods to ensure they meet company standards. Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff. Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and shipments using warehouse management systems. Identify and implement improvements in warehouse operations to enhance efficiency and productivity. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment. Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
