Job Overview
The Store Manager will act as a profit center head, overseeing all aspects of store operations from sales performance to team training and merchandising. This role requires a leader who can motivate staff, monitor KPIs, resolve customer escalations, and ensure compliance with internal policies and brand standards. The position also includes responsibility for visual merchandising, inventory flow, shrinkage control, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store teams to achieve revenue targets and margin goals
• Review store performance against AOP targets, including efficiency and productivity benchmarks
• Ensure proper display, planogram execution, pricing accuracy, and merchandising standards
• Coordinate with inventory team for timely product replenishment and floor availability
• Monitor sales and operational expenses to maximize store profitability
• Conduct periodic stock counts and implement shrinkage control measures
• Track conversion rates at individual and department levels to improve sales performance
• Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution of queries related to returns, deliveries, or transfers
• Ensure readiness and stock availability for in-store promotions and marketing campaigns
• Mentor, train, and develop store staff; support succession planning
• Maintain team discipline, punctuality, and grooming standards
• Submit timely reports on productivity, rosters, and leave schedules
• Enforce compliance with store policies, including opening/closing protocols and discount usage

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in retail sales, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role
• Professional certification in Retail Management is an advantage
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Business acumen and hands-on experience managing sales targets and operational budgets
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of store merchandising, visual displays, and inventory control processes
