Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee sales performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, and store operations. The role requires strong leadership to train and develop staff while driving growth and operational excellence in a competitive retail environment.

Core Duties

  • Lead recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining high-quality staff to ensure succession planning and optimal performance
  • Organize regular staff meetings and daily briefings to communicate goals, strategies, and performance targets
  • Ensure exceptional customer service at all times through coaching, assessment, and consistent follow-up with the team
  • Maintain visibility on the sales floor, supporting all selling functions and engaging with customers directly
  • Implement visual merchandising standards, promotional activities, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-presented
  • Meet or exceed profitability expectations by managing sales, payroll, shrinkage, and conversion rates
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize store sales while controlling expenses
  • Safeguard company assets through strict loss prevention measures, inventory management, and compliance with policies
  • Support smooth store operations by ensuring effective stock movements, accurate reporting, and adherence to procedures
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Store Manager with a proven track record in driving sales and profitability
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the fashion retail market, brand positioning, and consumer trends
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and operations within retail or brand management, particularly in fashion
  • Proficiency in business English (written and spoken), strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and SAP, with the ability to analyze detailed reports
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including occasional heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
