Receive all incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
Check deliveries for quantity, quality, and conformance to specifications.
Verify and inspect materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Material Storage:
Properly store materials in designated locations.
Ensure safe handling and storage to prevent damage or deterioration.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, issues, and receipts.
Conduct regular stock taking and inventory audits.
Reorder materials in coordination with procurement when stock reaches minimum levels.
Issuing Materials:
Issue materials to site supervisors, engineers, or workers as per approved requisitions.
Maintain proper records of all issued items with date, quantity, and recipient details.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain store-related documents like GRN (Goods Received Note), issue slips, stock register, and daily material reports.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports to the site manager or head office.
Coordination:
Coordinate with procurement, project engineers, and accounts for material requirements and delivery schedules.
Follow up with suppliers on pending deliveries or shortages.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to company safety policies while storing and handling materials.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or losses immediately to the concerned authority.
Tool & Equipment Management:
Maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned by workers.
Ensure proper upkeep, servicing, and tracking of tools.
