Job Description

STORE KEEPER
Summary: The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the receiving, storage, and issuance of all materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and shelve incoming materials and equipment.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage and discrepancies against purchase orders.
  • Issue materials and tools to staff and departments as requested, maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe storage area.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and records of inventory levels, orders, and issues.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests for low-stock items.
  • Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety and security procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in logistics or supply chain are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficient in inventory software (e.g., ERP systems) and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
