We are seeking a physically active and smart individual to join our restaurant's warehouse team as a Store Helper. The ideal candidate will assist the procurement team and storekeeper with the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient organization, stock management, and timely supply of materials to the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming stock.
Ensure all materials are stored in the appropriate locations based on storekeeper instructions.
Assist in inventory checks and report stock levels to the storekeeper and procurement team.
Help in packing and dispatching orders as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys.
Support the procurement team in daily tasks such as tracking shipments and stock arrivals.
Follow safety protocols for handling materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
Quick learner with the ability to follow instructions efficiently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team player with good communication skills.
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
