: As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our store. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, and supporting the overall retail experience. - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner, providing product information and assistance.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately.
- Assist in restocking shelves, racks, and displays to maintain inventory levels and visual appeal.
- Keep the store clean and organized, including regular cleaning and tidying of the sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive working environment.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing incoming shipments of merchandise.
- Monitor and manage inventory, reporting any discrepancies to the store manager.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a store assistant or in a similar retail role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a well-organized store.
