As a Store and Inventory Controller for Fresh Flowers, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient management and control of all floral inventory within the store. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and availability of fresh flowers, ensuring that customers have access to a wide selection of beautiful and well-maintained Fresh Flowers, Greeneries and Floral supplies. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: \xc2\xb7 Track incoming and outgoing floral inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping. \xc2\xb7 Monitor stock levels and anticipate demand to avoid shortages or excesses. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh flowers and resolve any delivery-related issues. \xc2\xb7 Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures. \xc2\xb7 Generate reports on inventory levels, sales, and other relevant metrics. \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of floral inventory, including pricing and product information. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the store management team to develop and implement effective inventory control strategies. Quality Control: \xc2\xb7 Inspect incoming floral shipments for freshness, quality, and adherence to specifications. \xc2\xb7 Implement proper storage and handling procedures to preserve the freshness and longevity of flowers. \xc2\xb7 Rotate stock to ensure the oldest inventory is used first, minimizing waste. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and maintain optimal storage conditions such as temperature, humidity, and lighting. Flowers Display: \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the floral design team to create attractive and marketable floral arrangements. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that all flower displays are well-maintained, properly watered, and free from wilting or damaged flowers. \xc2\xb7 Regularly update and refresh displays to enhance the visual appeal of the store. Customer Service: \xc2\xb7 Assist customers in selecting appropriate Flowers based on their preferences and occasions. \xc2\xb7 Provide guidance and recommendations on flower care and maintenance to customers. \xc2\xb7 Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in floral retail or a similar inventory control role is preferred. \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of different types of flowers, their characteristics, and care requirements. \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure smooth inventory operations. \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues with flowers. \xc2\xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and suppliers. \xc2\xb7 Basic computer and ERP skills for inventory tracking and generating reports.
