ROLE PURPOSE

As a Stock Controller at CASA PONS, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient inventory movement, and smooth store operations. You will manage stock receiving, storage, documentation, and distribution while ensuring that all products meet Casa Pons's quality standards. Your role ensures that our stores remain fully supplied, organized, and aligned with operational and brand requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining accurate stock records in the system. Performing regular stock counts and inventory audits. Supporting the store during peak hours or special events when required. Labeling, tagging, and arranging items following merchandising guidelines. Organizing and maintaining the stockroom, ensuring cleanliness and safety. Receiving shipments and verifying quantities against invoices and delivery notes. Coordinating stock transfers between branches and preparing required documentation. Monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages or overstock situations. Working closely with the retail team to ensure timely stock replenishment on the shop floor. Ensuring proper storage of products based on category (chocolates, honey, nuts, perfumes, etc.). Assisting in preparing reports related to inventory movements, discrepancies, and stock performance. Inspecting product quality, expiry dates, packaging conditions, and ensuring compliance with brand standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Bachelor's or equivalent. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in handling stock. Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Basic proficiency with computers and inventory/POS systems. Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Arabic) are a plus. Good physical stamina, able to lift and move boxes when necessary. 1-2 years of experience in stock control or inventory management in the UAE (experience in FMCG, retail, chocolates, or gift items preferred).
