Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Stewarding Supervisor to join our team. The Stewarding Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen areas, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Training:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stewarding team. Provide training to new staff members on proper cleaning and sanitation procedures. Conduct regular meetings with the team to discuss and implement best practices.

Cleaning and Sanitation:

Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards. Oversee the proper storage and handling of all cleaning supplies and chemicals. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and storage areas.

Equipment and Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs. Coordinate with suppliers to order necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.

Waste Management:

Implement and oversee waste management and recycling programs. Ensure proper disposal of waste materials according to local regulations and company policies. Monitor waste levels and coordinate timely removal of waste from kitchen areas.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all stewarding activities. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas to identify and address potential hazards. Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with the kitchen and catering teams to ensure seamless operations. Communicate effectively with team members, kitchen staff, and management to address any issues or concerns. Assist with special projects and events as needed.

Pay: From AED2,600.00 per month
