Position Overview
The Stewarding Supervisor role at a Vignette Collection luxury hotel supports safe, clean, and efficient back-of-house operations by overseeing stewarding activities, sanitation standards, and team coordination within a fast-paced hospitality environment in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily stewarding operations including dishwashing, pot washing, silver polishing, waste removal, and related tasks
• Ensure a safe, hygienic, and productive operation across all stewarding areas
• Maintain full compliance with health and sanitation standards
• Oversee cleanliness of kitchens, storerooms, hallways, docks, and equipment
• Conduct complete walkthroughs of stewarding areas at the start of each shift
• Continuously monitor all areas throughout the shift to maintain standards
• Respond to stewarding phone requests and support kitchen and operations teams
• Control daily-use stock including cleaning products and supplies
• Monitor and help reduce breakage and waste
• Ensure paper towel dispensers and sanitation supplies are replenished at all times
• Attend department and operations meetings regularly

Ideal Profile

• Two to three years of experience in a similar stewarding or back-of-house role within a luxury hotel
• Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and logical approach
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support multiple operations
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage
