Core Duties

• Supervise cleaning processes and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in F&B areas
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of all storage areas, including shelves, chillers, and freezers
• Monitor and record storage temperatures, promptly reporting any irregularities to Engineering and the Chief Steward
• Adhere strictly to HACCP procedures to safeguard food safety and quality
• Support the issuing of food items to F&B outlets and kitchens based on authorized requisitions
• Oversee cleaning staff, ensuring correct use of equipment and chemicals
• Maintain proper documentation for hygiene inspections and daily operations
• Report activities, incidents, and updates to the Chief Steward on a regular basis

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality is required
• High school diploma or equivalent; food safety or hospitality certifications are an advantage
• Strong understanding of HACCP principles, sanitation practices, and hygiene compliance
• Knowledge of cleaning processes, equipment, and safe chemical usage
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit to handle tasks involving standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-demand operations
• Familiarity with inventory management and record-keeping procedures
