Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stewarding Supervisor (QC for Kitchen - Cleanliness) for one of our leading client (Resort) in Al Ain. To ensure the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and operational efficiency within our kitchen's food preparation and service areas. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, supporting seamless kitchen operations, and contributing directly to guest satisfaction through immaculate cleanliness and professional standards. The Stewarding Supervisor will lead a team of kitchen support staff, conduct regular quality checks, implement cleaning protocols, and ensure all equipment, surfaces, and facilities meet stringent cleanliness benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Cleanliness & QC:
Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, storage rooms, and dishwashing sections are maintained at 100% cleanliness.
Conduct routine quality checks (QC) on hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
Inspect cleaning processes to ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and company hygiene policies.
Ensure regular deep-cleaning schedules are followed.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise stewarding staff and assign daily cleaning duties.
Train new stewards on hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, and safe equipment handling.
Monitor staff performance and ensure tasks are carried out efficiently.
Equipment & Inventory Management:
Ensure all cleaning equipment, dishwashers, and tools are functioning properly.
Report maintenance issues immediately.
Maintain stock of cleaning chemicals, materials, and tools.
Operational Support:
Support kitchen operations by ensuring a constant supply of clean utensils, crockery, and equipment.
Coordinate with chefs and management for special cleaning requirements or events.
Maintain proper waste management procedures, including segregation and disposal.
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Stewarding Supervisor or Senior Steward.
Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene standards, sanitation, and food safety guidelines.
Experience in HACCP implementation is preferred.
Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physically fit and able to handle kitchen operations.
