Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the stewarding team, ensuring all cleaning and hygiene standards are maintained.
Ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are cleaned and sanitized according to HACCP and company standards.
Manage the proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, dishwashing detergents, and other stewarding tools.
Train, guide, and motivate stewarding staff to achieve high performance.
Coordinate with the culinary and service teams to support smooth kitchen operations.
Enforce safety and hygiene policies, ensuring compliance with UAE food safety regulations.
Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks efficiently.
Report maintenance issues for kitchen equipment and dishwashing machines.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a stewarding role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices (HACCP preferred).
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus).
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
