We are seeking an experienced Stewarding Supervisor to oversee the stewarding operations in a high-volume catering environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for cleanliness and hygiene, and the ability to manage a team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: * Team Management:

• Supervise and lead the stewarding team, ensuring proper staffing levels and shift scheduling.
• Train new staff on hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, and equipment handling.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Operational Efficiency:

• Ensure all kitchen and service areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Oversee dishwashing, pot washing, and garbage disposal operations.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Compliance & Safety:

• Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with UAE health regulations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Implement and monitor HACCP and food safety protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance:

• Coordinate with maintenance teams for repair and upkeep of dishwashers, trolleys, and other stewarding equipment.
• Report any malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
• Coordination with Other Departments:

• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in banquet and event setups when required.

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in the catering/hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Physically fit to handle long hours and heavy equipment.

• Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial dishwashing machines and cleaning systems.
