The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food service areas. They ensure that all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and workspaces are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized to support efficient kitchen operations and uphold health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, sinks, and surrounding surfaces.
Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any damages.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Assist with inventory management by notifying management of supplies needed.
Support kitchen staff with basic food prep or other tasks as directed.
Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free of pests.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
Working Conditions:
Mostly indoor work in kitchen environment.
May require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts.
Repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
