Key Responsibilities
Cleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving counters, dishwashing areas, and storage spaces
Wash, polish, and organize dishes, utensils, cutlery, and glassware
Dispose of waste according to health and safety policies
Ensure floors, surfaces, and equipment are clean and hygienic
Cafeteria Support
Assist cafeteria staff with basic food handling or preparation as needed
Ensure clean dishes and utensils are supplied promptly to service areas
Help set up and clear cafeteria counters and service areas
Report shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor
Health & Safety Compliance
Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
Adhere to personal hygiene and uniform standards (gloves, hairnets, proper attire)
Handle cleaning chemicals safely
Teamwork & Communication
Work cooperatively with cafeteria and stewarding teams
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times
