Steward
Job Description
The Steward will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the entire coffee shop, including the dining area, kitchen, storage, and staff areas. This role is vital to creating a pleasant atmosphere for our customers and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the cafe dining area, kitchen, storage, and restrooms.
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, coffee tools, and equipment.
Keep tables, counters, and customer areas clean and organized.
Sweep, mop, and maintain the overall hygiene of the cafe floor.
Properly dispose of garbage and follow recycling procedures.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
Support the barista and kitchen team by keeping work areas clean and supplied.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Steward, Cleaner, or similar role is an advantage (but not required).
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Physical stamina to work on feet and perform cleaning tasks.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Basicknowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards preferred.
