DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive at work well groomed, prepared and show enthusiasm.
Attend daily briefing with the manager and supervisor
Use correct personal protective equipment's at work
Prepares kitchen equipment for use by the Chef's
Assists with checking and receiving goods
Maintain storage areas
Clean and store equipment
Clean premises and report any defects to the leaders
Handle waste and dispose in the designated areas
Maintain a hygienic kitchen
Clean the kitchen and equipment
Maintain high standards personal hygiene
Participate in trainings
Follows House Rules and Regulations
Follows Health and Safety Rules
Follows Grooming Regulations
Follows Standard Operations Procedures of the department and the hotel
Follows HACCP Procedures of the department and the hotel
Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines
Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
Avoid any breakages by following DECOY system
Log and report any breakages happening in the work place
Attend chemical trainings
Record PPM and Dishwashing temperatures
Control the usage of cleaning supplies and chemicals
