Job Description

Basic Function: Assisting the Sous Chef, Chef de Partie & Demi Chef in supervision of the entire main kitchen and stewarding department of the Ginja Face restaurant to ensure food product quality standards are always met and optimum service is provided to restaurant guests according to The Ginja Face restaurant standards. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Follow up the activity of stewarding operation. 2. Attending the briefing 3. Follow up the staff grooming and discipline. 4. Follow up the staff assignment. 5. Do daily and periodic cleaning action for all storage, preparation and service areas. 6. Follow up a rational cleaning schedule for all food handling and storage areas. 7. Follow up a proper equipment storage system in order to minimize the loss and breakage. 8. Follow up all banquets reports and function sheets . 9. Follow up requirement for function with banquet supervisor. 10. To set up and clearing station on all functions 11. To prepare storeroom requisition for approval by Supervisor steward 12. Do inventory list for outside/inside banquets and check inventory again upon return of equipment. 13. To check the chemical consumption and report any problems to supervisor steward.
