Job Summary
We are hiring a Steward to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. If you are hardworking, reliable, and have experience in back of house operations especially in Arabic or high volume kitchens we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize all kitchen tools, dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Keep kitchen areas clean, including floors, walls, and prep stations.
Handle garbage disposal and maintain cleanliness in waste areas.
Support chefs and kitchen staff during service times.
Refill cleaning supplies and report low stock to supervisors.
Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Help with cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment like grills or rotisseries.
Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications & Skills
3-5 years of similar experience in the UAE (restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred).
Arabic language is an added advantage.
Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
