We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Steward to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a smooth operation and exceptional guest experience.

Inspect, clean, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, and dinnerware Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring appropriate water temperature and chemical levels Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal service Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including floors, walls, and storage spaces Assist in inventory management of kitchen supplies and equipment Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices Support other departments as needed during peak periods

Qualifications

Minimum of a primary school diploma At least a year or of related work experience or 1 year in a similar role Advanced knowledge of standard work routines and general kitchen rules Proven ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail Strong physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods Excellent hygiene practices and understanding of cleanliness standards Basic math skills for measuring cleaning solutions accurately Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
