Job Description

We are seeking a

highly skilled Steel Structure Engineer

to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers the opportunity to work on

innovative house-boats and advanced marine structures

, combining cutting-edge engineering with unique design concepts.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum of

3+ years

in steel structure design, detailing, and execution.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, SAP2000 (or equivalent structural software).

Technical Expertise:

Strong background in

structural analysis, load calculations, and weight distribution

. Ability to

prepare precise shop drawings

and steel detailing. Knowledge of

measurement units, tolerances, and standard dimensions

used in steel fabrication.

Leadership:

Proven experience in

workshop management, fabrication processes, and on-site supervision.

Communication:

Strong reporting, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis



Perform

structural analysis, load and weight calculations

for different types of steel structures. Develop and review

shop drawings, fabrication details, and 3D models

. Ensure accuracy in

dimensions, units, and tolerances

according to project requirements. Optimize designs for

strength, durability, and cost efficiency

.

Project Execution & Supervision



Oversee fabrication works in the workshop, ensuring adherence to design and specifications. Supervise

cutting, welding, assembly, and erection

of steel structures on-site. Ensure correct

distribution and installation of structural elements

. Coordinate with architects, marine engineers, and contractors for smooth project delivery.

Quality & Safety Assurance



Verify compliance with

quality standards, HSE regulations, and industry codes

. Conduct

site inspections, material tests, and dimension checks

. Approve shop drawings and fabrication reports before execution. Troubleshoot design or site issues to prevent rework and delays.

Project Management & Reporting



Track project timelines, manpower, and material utilization. Provide

regular progress and technical reports

to management. Ensure deliverables are completed on schedule with

no compromise on accuracy or quality

.
