Job Description

We are Seeking Steel Reinforcements Foreman who will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the installation of steel reinforcement (rebar) on construction sites. This includes managing the steel fixing crew, ensuring compliance with technical drawings and safety regulations, coordinating with engineers, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of steel fixers and laborers on site. Interpret and implement construction drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and specifications. Ensure correct placement, spacing, and alignment of rebar as per the structural requirements. Order, receive, and store reinforcement materials and tools efficiently. Monitor daily productivity and ensure timelines are met without compromising quality. Conduct quality checks to ensure rebar work complies with codes and specifications. Coordinate with other site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow. Enforce safety rules and ensure workers wear proper PPE at all times. Report daily progress to site engineers and maintain records of manpower and materials used. Train new workers and ensure skilled labor is available for critical tasks. Troubleshoot site issues and implement solutions to avoid delays.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in steel reinforcement or rebar installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of construction drawings, BBS, rebar types, and tying methods. Ability to read and interpret structural drawings accurately. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Understanding of construction site safety regulations. Physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding site conditions. High school diploma or technical certification in construction is preferred.
