Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
Mark, cut, bend, and assemble steel plates and structural sections.
Perform fitting, tack welding, and alignment prior to final welding.
Inspect completed components for accuracy, quality, and dimensional compliance.
Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a steel plater or fabricator in heavy steel, shipyard, or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, tools, and measuring instruments.
Ability to interpret and work from complex technical drawings.
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
