Work Schedule:

6 working days per week (Friday off) Duty Hours: 9 hours per day

Key Responsibilities:

Cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh to reinforce concrete structures such as slabs, beams, columns, and foundations Interpret and follow detailed structural drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) Secure steel reinforcement using wire, spacers, and fasteners as per design specifications Ensure accurate placement, alignment, and spacing of rebars in shuttered sections Coordinate with formwork and concrete teams to ensure timely reinforcement placement Conduct basic quality checks for bar sizes, lengths, and overlaps Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and tools Adhere to project timelines and safety regulations on site

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in steel fixing for residential and commercial construction projects Proficient in reading structural drawings and bar bending schedules Skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, and tying steel bars and wire mesh Knowledge of reinforcement codes, overlaps, anchorage, and cover requirements Physically fit and capable of working in high-pressure and fast-paced environments Basic communication skills in Hindi for coordination at site Commitment to safety procedures and proper handling of tools and PPE
