We are seeking a skilled Steel Fixer / Reinforcement Worker to join our FM Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete structures. You have to read and interpret drawings and blueprints to ensure the reinforcement is placed accurately and safely according to project specifications. This role is vital in ensuring the structural integrity of buildings and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from structural drawings, blueprints, and specifications Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh to required sizes and shapes Position and secure steel reinforcement bars and mesh in concrete forms Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Collaborate with teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work site Inspect works for quality and compliance with specifications

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Steel Fixer or Reinforcement Worker, or similar role in construction Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for cutting and bending steel Good physical fitness and stamina to handle manual labor and work in various weather conditions Knowledge of safety procedures and practices on construction sites Attention to detail and strong teamwork skills Certification or vocational training in reinforcement work or construction is a plus
