Job Description
- Supervise the steel fixing team in setting up and installing reinforcement bars.
- Ensure that steel reinforcement is placed accurately and securely in accordance with project plans.
- Oversee the cutting, bending, and tying of steel bars.
- Inspect the installed reinforcement\'s quality to comply with safety and structural standards.
- Coordinate with concrete teams to facilitate concrete pouring.
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials used in steel fixing.
- Enforce safety measures and protocols on the construction site.
- Report any issues, defects, or delays to project management.
- Communicate with engineers and project managers to address specifications and changes.
- Previous experience as a Steel Fixer Foreman in construction.
- Knowledge of steel reinforcement and fixing techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices.
