to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in cutting, bending, fixing, and installing steel reinforcement for concrete structures as per drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and specifications.
Cut, bend, shape, and tie reinforcement steel using appropriate tools.
Install steel bars and mesh for slabs, beams, columns, foundations, walls, and other structural elements.
Ensure reinforcement is placed correctly, aligned, and secured before concreting.
Coordinate with Foreman and Site Engineer for daily tasks and site requirements.
Maintain tools and ensure the work area is clean and safe.
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
Requirements
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
as a Steel Fixer in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of steel reinforcement methods and BBS.
Ability to read drawings and work accurately with measurements.
Good physical fitness and stamina.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Willing to work overtime when required.
