Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
Cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh to reinforce concrete structures.
Use hand and power tools to shape and secure rebar.
Assemble and install steel reinforcement as per specifications.
Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and secure tying of steel bars.
Collaborate with engineers and site supervisors to meet project timelines.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a steel fixer or in a similar role.
Familiarity with construction tools and materials.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Physical strength and stamina.
Basic understanding of English or Arabic is often preferred.
