K4 Technical Services LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Steel Fixer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in steel fixing, with a strong ability to work on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine steel reinforcement requirements.
Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh according to project specifications.
Install and secure steel reinforcement in concrete forms, ensuring correct placement and alignment.
Use tools such as rebar benders, cutters, and tying tools to complete tasks.
Ensure that all steel work is completed in compliance with safety standards and local building codes.
Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth and timely project completion.
Inspect and test steel reinforcement for quality and compliance with design specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and manage waste materials.
Follow safety procedures and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Build and assemble wooden or metal formwork for pouring concrete, including walls, columns, beams, slabs, and foundations.
Construct and set up scaffolding to support formwork.
Ensure formwork is properly aligned, secure, and level to maintain structural integrity
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Steel Fixer in the UAE.
Proficiency in steel fixing techniques and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong knowledge of steel reinforcement methods and safety standards.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks and operate tools.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in steel fixing are preferred.
