You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, use fabrication tools and machinery, and ensure safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
Cut, bend, and shape metal using power tools and machinery (grinders, saws, presses).
Weld and assemble structural steel components using MIG/TIG/arc welding.
Measure and mark out materials for fabrication accurately.
Operate and maintain fabrication equipment.
Ensure all fabricated components meet quality and specification standards.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with other team members including engineers, welders, and site supervisors.
