Static Engineer

Job Description
We are currently looking for Static Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi: Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):
Qualification / Experience (Skills):
- Preparing design documentations such as mechanical datasheets, design calculations, specifications, and reports.
- Preparing material requisitions, vendor offer review and technical bid evaluations for Static Equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, filters, Pig launchers & receivers and mechanical packages such as flare stack package, chemical injection package, test separator package, Slug catcher packages, Glycol Dehydration package etc.
- Knowledge of engineering software such as PV Elite, Compress, Tank etc.
- Review of vendor’s drawings and calculations for equipment and packages to ensure the drawings and calculations are in compliance with codes and specification requirements.
- Participating in the Project Safety Reviews along the project different phases such as conceptual, FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction, Commissioning phases.
- Participating in developing company standard specifications and procedures.
- Providing advice and assistance to the operating plants in the engineering, maintenance, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and installations.
- Must be familiar with the international codes and standards such as ANSI, ASME, ASTM, BS, MSSP, API, NACE, DNV and SHELL DEPs. Ensuring compliance to respective equipment design standards, local regulations & good engineering practice.
- Inter-discipline co-ordination during the development and implementation of design. Package interface management, providing inputs & expediting inputs from other engineering disciplines, Projects, and Quality.
Qualification / Experience (Skills):
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from recognized university
- Master’s degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage
- Minimum 6-10 years’ experience as a Static Engineer
