We are currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as an area Stakeholder Engineer/Specialist. Liaise with all Stakeholders, Authorities, Consultants and Contractors on all project related documents such as NOCs, Permits, Approvals on design and construction related, handover requirements and handover works.
Preparation of reports, manuals and guideline documents pertaining to specific handover and stakeholder issues as required by the client.
Provide support to the Construction Supervision team & client representative to oversee the handover process of the contracts.
Liaise with Design Consultants and Contractors including review technical design and provide comments where applicable.
Coordination with other relevant disciplines such as Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects etc.
Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary for all types of projects, keep track and record all required actions from all Stakeholders and follow up on the progress as required.
Liaise with Key Stakeholders and Authorities to ensure a smooth handover of assets on completion of works
Provide handover and stakeholders input to weekly / monthly reports.
Ensure the timely review of all documents submitted by the Consultant and/or Contractor.
Inform the Team Leader of any potential delays in the project completion or milestones.
Participate in all site safety training and comply with all site safety protocols.
Provide all necessary on-site direction and work to team to complete the handover tasks.
Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘As-Built’ drawings, O&M manuals and all related authorities checklists and documents.
Establish NOC trackers to track NOC status and ensure timely intervention to ensure approvals in time.
Coordination with the Client dealings (both internal and external) and liaise with all government offices and service authorities in UAE for all technical queries and issues
Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations, related to NOC progress
Qualifications/Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field,
Minimum 10 years of experience in a stakeholder/NOC Coordination position, liaising with authorities in Abu Dubai
Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Abu Dubai and their NOC system
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic would be an advantage
