The Stakeholder Engineer will support the stakeholder management team in coordinating with government authorities, clients, and contractors to obtain approvals and ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements. With 3 years of experience, the role focuses on technical submissions, NOCs, and facilitating communication between engineering teams and external stakeholders to avoid delays and ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and submitting drawings, documents, and technical reports to government authorities and utility providers for approvals.
Coordinate with design and supervision teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are incorporated into project plans.
Support in tracking the progress of NOCs, permits, and approvals.
Communicate with external agencies (roads, utilities, environment, municipality, etc.) for technical clarifications.
Attend meetings with authorities, clients, and contractors to represent project requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of submissions, approvals, and communications.
Identify and escalate potential stakeholder-related risks or issues.
Provide technical support in resolving conflicts between project designs and stakeholder requirements.
Assist in preparing stakeholder engagement reports and progress updates.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in stakeholder coordination/engineering within supervision or construction projects.
Strong technical knowledge of engineering drawings and project documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software (AutoCAD preferred).
Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with authorities and project teams.
Bilingual (Arabic & English) preferred.
