We are seeking a skilled

Stainless Steel Fabricator - TIG Welder

to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of stainless steel components, with a strong focus on precision TIG welding and high-quality finishing. The role involves reading technical drawings, cutting, forming, assembling, and welding stainless steel to produce components for various applications including kitchen equipment, industrial enclosures, and structural elements.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble stainless steel components using hand and power tools. Perform high-quality

TIG (GTAW)

welding on thin to medium gauge stainless steel (typically 0.8mm to 3.0mm). Read and interpret fabrication drawings, technical blueprints, and welding symbols. Measure, mark, cut, bend, and fit stainless steel sheets, tubes, and structural pieces to exact specifications. Grind, polish, and finish welds to achieve a clean, sanitary, or architectural finish. Ensure all work meets quality control and food-grade or industry-specific standards. Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, rollers, grinders, and saws. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow company safety procedures and participate in housekeeping duties. Collaborate with fellow fabricators, welders, and supervisors to meet project timelines.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a TIG welder or stainless steel fabricator. Strong proficiency in TIG welding stainless steel. Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings. Skilled in using fabrication tools such as shears, brakes, and hand tools. Attention to detail with a focus on high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina - able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods. Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
