Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Stainless Steel Fabricator

to join our manufacturing team, specializing in the fabrication of

commercial kitchen equipment

such as sinks, work tables, hoods, cabinets, counters, and shelving units. The ideal candidate should have experience working with

sheet metal and stainless steel

, particularly in the fabrication of

food-grade kitchen equipment

, with strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate stainless steel kitchen equipment including: Work tables Sinks Cabinets and drawers Exhaust hoods Wall shelves and racks Bain-maries, trolleys, and custom counters Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Perform accurate measurements and layout work based on design requirements. Use tools and machinery such as: Shears, press brakes, rollers, grinders, and cutting equipment TIG welding equipment (primary), and MIG welding if required Ensure all fabricated items meet food-grade hygiene and safety standards. Conduct finishing work such as polishing, deburring, and grinding to ensure smooth surfaces and welds. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and quality expectations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist with installation or assembly at client sites when required.

Requirements:

Proven experience (2-5 years) in stainless steel fabrication, preferably for

commercial kitchen equipment

. Strong TIG welding skills and knowledge of stainless steel properties. Ability to work with thin gauge sheet metal (0.8mm - 2.0mm). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience using standard fabrication tools and machinery. Strong attention to detail and high-quality finishing standards. Knowledge of

food-safe

standards and sanitary fabrication techniques. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods. Basic math skills and good measurement accuracy.
