The Staff Accountant position at MDD will have excellent analytical skills, a desire to work in a fast-paced work environment, as well as a genuine interest in pursuing a career in forensic accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data Physical inventory observation, price testing Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement Checking and proofing reports and schedules Conduct phone or in-person interviews to obtain information Research, data extraction, analysis and interpretation Attend marketing events and functions with clients

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Finance-related Degree/Masters graduate (Accounting related, advantageous) Ideally, working towards an accounting designation ( AC(C)A, CPA, CIMA, or UAECA) Some accounting-related work experience (paid or otherwise), beneficial Strong attention to detail Enjoys working with data, tenacious in problem solving Confident communication skills with ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team Intermediate to advanced MS suite skills, particularly Excel Fluent in business-English (both written and verbal) Proficiency in Arabic / other language, considered an asset Ability to travel at short notice may be required
