Job Purpose:

To lead and oversee all activities related to labor accommodations, including contract management, rental payments, site-level staff supervision, and coordination with landlords and vendors. The role ensures all housing facilities are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the welfare standards and operational goals of A&M Group.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Labor Accommodation Oversight

Supervise day-to-day operations of all company labor accommodations. Directly manage and evaluate Camp Bosses at each accommodation. Conduct periodic audits and site visits to ensure cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Landlord & Lease Management

Serve as the primary liaison with landlords and accommodation providers. Manage rental contracts, ensuring timely renewals, negotiation of terms, and compliance with UAE housing standards. Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely rent payments and resolve payment-related disputes.

Occupancy & Data Management

Maintain accurate digital records of room allocations, occupant lists, available capacity, and occupancy reports. Track check-in/out of laborers, linking with HR and Project Departments for mobilization/demobilization. Monitor trends in occupancy and proactively plan for future capacity needs based on project demands.

Maintenance & Facility Coordination

Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for repair and upkeep of accommodations (ACs, plumbing, pest control, etc.). Develop preventive maintenance schedules and follow through on timely execution. Ensure readiness of rooms and facilities before laborers' arrival.

Health, Safety & Welfare Compliance

Ensure that all accommodations meet safety regulations and welfare standards in accordance with MOHRE, Civil Defense, and municipality regulations. Address any health or safety concerns raised by Camp Bosses or residents, escalating where necessary.
6.

Reporting & Communication

Submit monthly reports to HR Operations regarding occupancy, lease status, maintenance issues, and upcoming renewals. Act as a liaison between site management, HR, GRD (for inspections or legal matters), and landlords.

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in managing labor accommodations or facility supervision within construction/industrial sectors in the UAE. Experience in lease management, vendor coordination, and direct team leadership.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of UAE labor accommodation laws and municipality/Civil Defense regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Excel or accommodation management tools/systems.

Language Skills:

Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi/Urdu and basic Arabic is preferred.

Soft Skills:

Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong leadership, time management, and multitasking abilities. Professionalism in dealing with landlords, government authorities, and multicultural teams.
