Qualifications and Experience: - Education / Qualifications: BS in Engineering (Electronic, CS or IT). Certification: A+ and ITIL. Relevant Experience \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum: Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician. Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals. Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems. Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues. Excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills. Drive towards consistent value addition to the business Key Accountabilities: - Managing IT Service Desk tickets related to End- support. Managing the distribution of the assignment, calls and tickets to the IT support within prescribed SLAs/KPIs. Up to Level-3 support for end-user support for all IT services. Maintaining CMDB for all user-related SW/HW assets. Hardware/Software troubleshooting Identifying solutions to improve the functionality, reliability and usability of the systems (value engineering). Ensuring security and upgrades are kept up to date on all end-user devices, along with backup and recovery. Delivering IT services in compliance with the IT operational and security policies Training and developing his operations team and end-users, when required.
