Job Description
As a Senior Technician specializing in Mechanical Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality and reliability of a diverse range of sterile production and packaging equipment. Your responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and adhering to cGMP principles. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and expertise in the maintenance of pharmaceutical machinery.Key Responsibilities:
- Execute planned preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery to prevent downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Overhaul and upgrade machinery when necessary, ensuring compliance with Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) and cGMP.
- Perform regular inspections and implement solutions for breakdowns in equipment.
- Generate comprehensive reports, including work completion reports, logbooks, and daily activity reports.
- Coordinate with SAP Coordinator to address notifications and job orders promptly.
- Provide technical support and training on new equipment, ensuring timely completion.
- Collaborate with other departments, defining specifications related to equipment, components, and systems.
- Ensure the availability of spare parts and initiate orders when inventory reaches the minimum level.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry or related sectors such as food and electronics/automation.
- In-depth knowledge of various sterile equipment, its parts, and operations.
- Proficient in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processes.
- Expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance planning and implementation.
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with SAP & EQMS Systems.
- Positive mindset, effective communication, and strong analytical skills.
