Hiring for the below role for one of our prestigious Government Clients in Abu Dhabi . Job Title : Sr.Sourcing and Pre Qualification Specialist General skills: supplier management, Strategic identification, evaluation and pre-qualifying suppliers that align with our quality and compliance, deep understanding of the defense procurement process, understanding of defense products (Air, Land, Sea and Cyber), strong negotiation skills Experience required : 12 - 15 years of relevant work experience in the UAE. Job location : Abu Dhabi Education : Bachelor's degree Responsibility: 1. Sourcing strategy by develop and execute specialized sourcing tailored to the unique needs of the defense and military industry 2. Conduct market analysis and maintain through understanding of the defense technology trends. 3. Conduct assessment of potential suppliers, considering their ability to meet defense specification standards. 4. Work closely with technical experts to evaluate the technological capabilities of suppliers 5. Negotiate with suppliers ( commercially and technically) to ensure meeting our requirements. 6. Collaborate with cross functional team (finance, legal, business development and project management) to ensure comply with the requirements. 7. Understand the export control procedure. 8.
