Job Summary: The Senior Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets within a designated area or facility. This role requires a combination of physical and technical security skills, as well as the ability to lead and manage a team of security officers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets within the designated area or facility. 2. Conduct risk assessments and threat analysis to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop plans to mitigate them. 3. Manage and lead a team of security officers, providing training and coaching as needed to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively. 4. Monitor and investigate security incidents and breaches, taking appropriate action to prevent further occurrences and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 5. Manage the deployment and use of security technology, including access control systems, CCTV cameras, and intrusion detection systems. 6. Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services to respond to incidents and emergencies as needed. 7. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other external partners. 8. Develop and manage budgets for security operations, including personnel, equipment, and technology. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field. 2. At least 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. 3. Knowledge of security best practices and standards, including physical and technical security. 4. Experience in conducting risk assessments and threat analysis. 5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team of security officers. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders. 7. Proficiency in the use of security technology, including access control systems, CCTV cameras, and intrusion detection systems. 8. Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents and emergencies. 9. Experience in developing and managing budgets for security operations. 10. Certification in relevant security and safety standards, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM), is a plus. Working Conditions: The Senior Security Officer will work in a variety of environments, including office buildings, hospitals, retail stores, and other commercial or public facilities. The role may require standing or walking for extended periods of time and may involve working evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Senior Security Officer must be able to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents and emergencies. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
