Sr. Process Engineer
Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Provide technical design and engineering services in Process Engineering for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.
Required Experience and Skills:
10 years of relevant post-graduate experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
Proven experience working with international engineering consultancy firms of repute.
Additional exposure to operating companies in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Refineries, Gas Processing, LNG, LPG, etc., will be considered an advantage.
Preferably began career in a consultancy environment, with demonstrated involvement in Feasibility Studies, Conceptual Design, and FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) activities.
Experience in Detailed Engineering within a consultancy organization is also acceptable.
Strong background in process design across one or more of the following areas:
+ Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas Facilities
+ Gas Compression, Dehydration, and Sweetening
+ Relief and Blowdown Systems
+ Dynamic Simulations
+ Steady-State and Transient Pipeline Hydraulics
+ NGL and LPG Plants
+ Propane Refrigeration Systems
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
* Chartered Engineer/ Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
