Department
COMMERCIAL OPTIMIZATION
Primary purpose of job
To protect QatarEnergy's and the State of Qatar's commercial interests in non-operated national crude oil fields and
international ventures, and for the development of offtake and marketing of crude oil and related products agreements,
using effective asset management commercial processes. Each position will be assigned certain oil ventures.
Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in (i) crude trading, marketing or trading operations, and/or (ii) commercial optimisation and
governance of non-operated ventures, and/or (iii) E&P business development, or similar.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in leading contract negotiations, developing negotiation strategy, contract interpretation,
and contract/term sheet drafting.
  • Excellent problem solving, financial, economic analysis skills, strong concern for effectiveness and accuracy, and the
ability to work in multi-cultural environment and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills in English. Proficient in Portuguese, Spanish and/or French advantageous.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, science, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
Related postgraduate qualification (MSc. or MBA) is advantageous;
