The Sr. MEP Engineer will be responsible for providing support in supervising multiple MEP projects. He should ensure that projects will be completed on time, as per the scope, specifications, standards and project budget.

The candidate must possess expertise/experience in the following domains:
- Perform a variety of professional engineering duties in support to the infrastructure project works; such as calculations and computations and preparing project cost analysis.
- Participate in the review of contractor work activities and ensure contract compliance with contract obligations.
- Conduct and supervise the filed inspections of projects under construction, and provide resolution to construction problems. And to verify both work-in-progress and completed projects.
- Review drawings, plans and other work details submitted by external consultants and contractor for conformance with standards and work specifications.
- Recognized proficiency in technical and commercial judgments in variations, claims and new items.
- Know the required permits and NOCs for the projects.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Manage the day-to-day working, utilization, implementation and technical consultants engaged on client assignments.
- Report progress of projects, maintain and update project reporting, checkpoints and financial reporting to a high standard.
- Responsible for managing 2 to 3 smaller projects (Budget: 1 to 1.5M), reporting status updates to ensure the successful completion of ongoing as well as expected projects.
- Produce reports on each project at agreed intervals, and whenever substantive actions are required.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish.
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Review and evaluate regularly the progress reports submitted by the consultant/contractor.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
Experience Qualification Required
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree. MUST
- Project Management Qualifications and Accreditations (PMP) is an advantage.
- Experience in Construction & Mechanical Projects is MUST
- experience in executing MEP for Construction, Facility Management, Installation and Commissioning projects
- Experience in systems/procedures for MEP Design Management and Change Management in MEP Project Operations
- Experience in construction projects from conception to completion
- Project baselines, monitoring & controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, & quality
- Reviewing & preparing MEP Fa\xc3\xa7ade drawings for complete MEP services in conjunction with Architectural / Structural requirements
- Design verification & value engineering, to ensure design aim
- Assessment and Cause & Effect Test for all related MEP Works & equipment and assessing available resources & possible constraints in the execution of the same
- Keeping record MEP related works including As-Built drawings, commissioning records, O & M manuals, for proper maintenance of systems
- Planning approach of site works and reviewing daily manpower deployment, with periodic look ahead and look back reviews, in line with the project master program
- Site administration for transportation, attendance, discipline, safety, security, stores, workshops to ensure professional work ethics, culture, etc
- Monitoring progress of material submittals, work method statements, procurement of materials in line with site requirement, as per project specifications
- Quality assurance plan & stage-wise inspection procedures for monitoring.
- Inspection of critical and important equipment at manufacturing plant to avoid inferior site modifications.
- selection of equipment & materials for ease of maintenance.
- Maintaining LEED documentations for GREEN Building Certification as per the project / client requirements.
- Site Survey
- Survey for all existing MEP Services in comparison with as built drawings
- Maintaining checklist for checking all the existing MEP Works
- Strong technical knowledge in MEP infra projects.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills
