Sr. Materials Manager

Job Description
We are currently looking for an Sr. Material Manager Core Job responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs
- Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications
- Coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures
- Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization
- Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
- Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates
- Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers
- Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc. and Assist in forecasting to plan future orders
- Develop and maintain supplier database in SAP
- Implement the general procurement and logistics strategy
- Long/short term material planning and forecasting
- Provide MIS data to Management – Engineering Materials for material planning
- Analyze periodically all materials demands, consumption, Nil and Not stocked trend, reorder levels and recommend appropriate action to Materials department to ensure stock availability at all times
- Monitor and follow up on processing of timely return core units within the contractual period
