The Senior Market Access Manager, KSA is responsible for leading and executing the market access and public affairs strategy to ensure optimal access and reimbursement for Insulet's diabetes technologies within the Kingdom. This includes policy shaping, stakeholder engagement, tender management, and payer negotiations across all healthcare sectors




The role requires a strategic leader capable of influencing national access environment, driving tender excellence, and building long-term partnerships with payers, governmental bodies, and key opinion leaders to ensure sustainable patient access to Insulet's Omnipod system.


Key Responsibilities

1. Market Access Strategy & Execution



Develop and execute national market access strategies to secure and maintain reimbursement and formulary inclusion for Omnipod products. Lead access initiatives across all healthcare sectors (MOH, NG, MODA ,NUPCO, CHI), institutional, and private insurance. Ensure pricing, reimbursement, and value demonstration strategies are locally relevant and compliant with Saudi regulations. Identify access barriers and implement targeted solutions to improve product availability and adoption.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Public Affairs



Establish and maintain strategic relationships with MOH, NUPCO, CHI, MODA, NG and other key sectors and payer bodies. Monitor and influence policy developments, reimbursement frameworks, and national health strategies relevant to diabetes and medical devices. Represent Insulet in policy dialogues, advocacy forums, and public-private partnership discussions to strengthen the company's visibility and credibility. Collaborate with regional market access head and public affairs teams to align strategies and share insights.

3. Tender Management & Institutional Access



Lead all aspects of NUPCO and institutional tender processes, including pre-tender preparation, submission, negotiation, and post-award management. Work closely with distributors to ensure compliant and timely participation in all relevant tenders. Support pricing, forecasting, and demand planning linked to public procurement cycles. Ensure tender wins translate into successful implementation and patient access on the ground.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration



Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to integrate access goals into broader business strategies. Provide market insights and policy updates to guide internal planning and resource allocation.

5. Data, Insights & Reporting



Maintain deep knowledge of the evolving KSA healthcare landscape, payer mix, and access trends. Analyse and report market intelligence to regional and global teams. Contribute to business cases and value dossiers that demonstrate cost-effectiveness and real-world value of Insulet technologies.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Economics, or related field is preferred Demonstrated experience in Market Access, and Tender Management within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Proven experience managing access and reimbursement in KSA's public and institutional sectors. Solid track record in government relations, policy advocacy, and payer engagement. Experience working with or through NUPCO, MOH, and Council of Health Insurance preferred

Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of Saudi healthcare structure, tendering, and reimbursement mechanisms. Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at all levels of government and industry. In-depth knowledge of pricing and contracting principles. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities. Proficient in English and Arabic (verbal and written). Strong project management and organizational skills. Self-driven, strategic, and collaborative mindset with high ethical standards.

Physical Requirements





Travel across KSA and occasional regional travel.
