? We're Hiring: Sr. Manager DBA! ?
Responsible to contribute to the team involved in the administration planning, coordination, implementation and maintenance of databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MANGO DB, Postgrace mySQL), develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of all databases including the backup and recovery. The role is also responsible to implement, maintain the DR instances of the Databases and application in the bank along with the other teams in IS & T.
To work as an individual contributor to the team responsible for the performance, reliability, availability and security of the Databases running in the bank as per the IS & T standard policies and procedure.
Cloud Database Administration will be responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of databases hosted in cloud environments; the role is essential in ensuring the integrity, availability, and performance of databases while adhering to security and compliance standards.
Leads a team of Database Administrators.

Experience - 10 + years
Work Experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience in Information Technology, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role in a Bank. Overall 6+ years hands-on experience with various RDBMS, DW systems and O/S Must have worked on 24/7 operations.
Must have handled systems with Database size not less than 1 TB and with minimum 600+ concurrent users across different geographical locations.
Must have handled multiple databases of different technologies Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Strong technical knowledge across multiple layers like SQL DBA, Oracle, Windows Operating Systems and Storage (SAN, NAS), AIX Operating System
Must be a Good Team Leader or Coordinator Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders of different nationalities
Familiarity with international standards such as ITIL/CMMI/ISO Possess overall positive and collaborative attitude Competencies Required for the Role: Communicating effectively Attention to detail Analytical thinking
Professional Qualifications (Desired):
Certification/Formal Training (Foundation/Basic Level) in Software Development Certification/Formal Training in Core Banking/Banking Channels/Payment Systems MS SQL/Oracle certification DB security certification/training Digital Transformation (Any) ITIL V4 (F), HDI-SCTL (Added advantage)
