Accountabilities

Implement and maintain compliance policies, ensuring alignment with laws and regulations. Lead compliance with risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies with senior leadership. Monitor regulatory changes, assess their impact, and update compliance procedures accordingly. Oversee compliance monitoring, reporting, and development of key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct internal compliance investigations and implement corrective action plans. Collaborate with teams to integrate compliance requirements into business processes. Develop and deliver compliance training to promote ethical conduct across the organization. Implement and manage a data protection framework, ensuring compliance with privacy laws. Review and negotiate Data Protection Addendums (DPAs) with vendors and stakeholders. Lead risk management efforts, focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy, and operational risks. Conduct internal and external audits to assess regulatory and industry standard compliance. Ensure risk management processes align with best practices and regulatory frameworks. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., JD, LLM, or MBA) preferred. 8-10 years in compliance and risk management, including 2-3 years in leadership roles. Strong knowledge of compliance regulations, risk management, and industry best practices. Excellent communication, analytical, and data management skills for compliance audits and reporting. Preferred certifications such as CCEP or equivalent; experience with regulatory agencies is a plus. Expertise in data protection laws (GDPR, UAE PDPL, IATA) and experience in cybersecurity risk management. Proven track record in conducting risk assessments, audits, and compliance reporting.
